Planning Committee

Event Coordinator (David Salisbury) - Responsible for recruiting and overseeing all coordinators, and filling in where needed. Iris is responsible for facilitating meetings, setting and keeping track of the budget, expenses, and income, The event coordinator is also responsible for working with the sponsorship and scheduling coordinators to create and print the event program.

Sponsorship Coordinator (Iris Firemoon) - Responsible for working with all vendors, groups, advertisers, and major sponsors. Prior to the event, the Sponsorship Coordinator will contact local groups and potential vendors and sign them up via the website. This also soliciting and securing program advertisers and major sponsors. He will serve as the main contact for information and questions to vendors, groups, advertisers and major sponsors before, during, and after the event. He will maintain an up-to-date list of all register and paid persons. During the event, the Sponsorship Coordinator will act as a liaison between PPD and vendors and groups, including assigning table spaces on a first-come, first-serve basis. After the event, Iris will follow up with a thank you to all vendors, groups, advertisers, and major sponsors.

Registration and Volunteer Coordinator (GrannyMoon) - GrannyMoon is responsible for the set up, management, and tear down of the main registration table. She is also responsible for recruiting volunteers to man the registration table from 10am to 5pm. The Volunteer Coordinator will also help the registration table check in volunteers. She is also responsible for making sure that the volunteers and coordinators take appropriate breaks for food and drink. After the event, she will follow up with a thank you to all volunteers.

Schedule and Raffle Coordinator (Iris Firemoon and LaVada Niamba Damara) - Responsible for setting up and maintaining the raffle. Prior to the event, he will ask local persons, groups, and shops for raffle donations in exchange for program advertising space. If necessary, event funds will be used to purchase raffle items. Additionally, Patrick will work with the workshop, ritual, and event coordinators to create a schedule of the day's events. During the event, this person will make sure that the event stays on schedule, wrapping up any activities that are running over, and making sure that workshops and ritual folks know when they are about to be up. Also, he will facilitate the raffle, drawing tickets and announcing winners at the top of each hour, in between activities. After the event, he will follow up with a thank you to all persons who donated to the raffle.

Ritual and Food Drive Coordinator (Iris Firemoon) - This person is responsible for the food drive, including selecting a food bank, promoting the food drive element, making sure that the food gets collected at the event, as well as delivering the food after the event. This coordinator will also be responsible for working with the Northern Virginia Pagan Network to plan the Fall Equinox ritual, as well as finding any needed volunteers to help facilitate the ritual. This person will work with the Scheduling and Workshop Coordinators to schedule the ritual. After the event, this person will follow up with a thank you to all ritual and food drive volunteers.

Workshop Coordinator (Michael Moonsage) - Prior to the event, this person is responsible for seeking out, scheduling, and promoting workshop presenters. This person will work with the Scheduling and Ritual Coordinators to appropriately schedule workshops. During the event, this coordinator will serve as the main liaison between PPD and the presenters. After the event, this person will follow up with a thank you to all workshop presenters.

Security Coordinator (Frank Stormcatcher) - Responsible for developing and carrying out a security and first aid plan.
